The term “New Testament” originated outside of the framework of Jewish/Torah spirituality. It reflected a view of “superiority” over the Tanakh. The more recently applied term, “New Covenant,” sometimes substituted for these texts, may sound ‘Judaic’ but holds a very different meaning in Jewish and Christian circles. Assigning a Hebrew translation of “Brit HaDasha,” for the NT as some do, could be seen as an acceptance of the term and its associated non-Judaic ideas.
Thus, for academic reasons, we’ve chosen to keep the term, “New Testament,” due to its common/academic usage and the term not being of offense to the Jewish people in the world today. These commentaries are not in any way reflective of Christian (or other non-Jewish) beliefs. Hundreds of citations from oral Torah are provided throughout.

I began studying the NT manuals through a Chasidic lens over 10 years ago and would like to be a part of helping in your NT projects.
I’m currently in the process of beginning yeshiva at Machon Meir in Jerusalem, but I will be able to work online.
Also, I’m able to help with anything in PowerPoint, Excel, Word and video production.

Thanks so much for this, and all of the work that you are doing. It is beautiful to see Yeshua’s teaching in the context of Orthodox Judaism where it fits best. I think the recent interest of some orthodox teachers, and rabbis in the writings of the “New Testament” is a sign of where we are in the prophetic time line.
Shalom and may HaShem richly bless you all for your labors of love. As for me and my house, we are nlessed greatly. Toda! And happy Holy Days. May Yeshua return soon. Amen and Amen.
Does the 13 Petals team believe that Yeshua is the Messiah?
Soooooo glad I found this! It’s just what I was looking for! Being Christian, I was looking at the Sefirot and had a sudden “epiphany:” the Lord’s Prayers was the Sefirot! Immediately I looked this up and found this web site. I really feel blessed today!
Thanks a lot for everything. MAY THE ETERNAL ONE BLESS YOU AND KEEP YOU.
