Gate 2 – Yesod

“My soul thirsts for G-d, the living G-d [El Chai]; O when will I come to appearĀ before G-d?” (Psalms 42:3)

The following terms, found throughout the Tenak (and other Torah literature) are linked to the Sefirah of Yesod. They reflect one or more of the aspects/ideas associated with Yesod, such as: foundation. ‘Almighty G-d,’ the “lower end” of the heavens, El Shaddai, Tzaddik (Righteous One), the pillar connecting heaven and earth, seal of truth, phallus, non-Lucid Mirror, procreative power, Messiah, Covenant, Hidden Miracles, purity.
