Textual Variant: Verse 8:37 is omitted by most important manuscripts. Some later Traditional text manuscripts include a theological interpolation that managed to slip into the Peshitta’s text. The interpolation said: “And Philip said, If you believe with all your heart you may. The eunuch answered, I believe that Yeshua the Messiah is the son of God”. The theological implications of this interpolation are obvious.
