Shabbat Bayit

Welcome to Shabbat Bayit, the “Shabbat House” of the Neshot Binah Group!

About the House

The idea behind this project is to provide a solid foundation, and introduce a variety of ideas in different ways, to women interested in Shabbat.  Though the rooms in the ‘Shabbat House’ have the same general categories, each of them offers a unique experience. When you move into another room, you may see some things return, only in a another way, as well as new ideas and information. Below is a synopsis on what each of the room contains.

Sign up for the free Neshot Hashabbat (Women of Shabbat) weekly email with updates, tips, insights and encouragement. You can unsubscribe any time.

Room 1 – Why?

INTRO: “Why?” may be the most asked question in Judaism. It’s important to know why you’re doing something, otherwise you will be missing out on the essence of that thing as well as the connections it has to many other parts of Torah. (More on this later!) This first room gives some Shabbat background and insights.
